Lizzie asks…
How to restore Recycle Bin?
I accidentally deleted the Recycle Bin icon and I’m trying to restore it back. Help?
The Expert answers:
I got in a hurry and did the same thing one day. I haven’t been able to restore it since. I have tried the method that others have recommended and have had no success… The thing is at least you can do a disk clean up and delete or retrieve any files that you put in there. Just start the disk clean up and highlight the recycle bin and view files…
Joseph asks…
computer help, opening recycling bin?
other then by clicking on the desktop icon ..
are there any other ways to open the recycling bin ?
the “start, menu .. etc” all disappeared on my computer,
& i need to empty the recycling bin out.
there’s no start.
The Expert answers:
I am not sure I understand. Is you start is still on your screen or is it gone also? If start is there you can go into programs then accessories then system tools and then do a disk clean up. It will delete files from you recycle bin. If start is missing also try Ctrl ALT and Deld and see if it does not pop up.
Daniel asks…
l have lost recycle bin?
I have lost my recycle bin. How can I restore it so I can delete what is in there?
I didn’t put in my original question that I have WindowsXP. I would like to retrieve my recyle bin. I have followed diffrent instructions, but nothing works.
The Expert answers:
Here’s what you need to do if you have Windows Vista, if you have XP or Windows 7 then it may be slightly different.
Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization
On the left, under tasks, you should see ‘Change desktop icons’. Click that.
Now tick ‘Recycle Bin’
EDIT: Ok, try this:
1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop
2. Select Properties
3. Click the Desktop tab
4. Click the Customize button
5. Click Restore Default
6. Exit all windows and restart your computer
If it still doesn’t work then edit your question again. 🙂
Thanks and I hope this works,
Jamie.

when i delete a file it is not going to the recycle bin.probably someone at home changed the stting. is it possible it possible to direct the files being deleted to another file? how do i get it back to normal? and how can i restore a file when its has been deleted and hasnt gone to the recycle bin?
please help!
The Expert answers:
If you´re deleting something from a disc that´s not C:/ then you can´t change it.
If you´re deleting something from C:/ Disc then go to the recycle bin and right click, then go to it´s properties. There will be an option to disable the recycle bin.
Hope it helped.
EDIT: Don´t download what the other guy posted, it may be a spyware or malware virus.
I mean, enabling the bin folder is easy enough to don´t need any other programs…
David asks…
computer recycle bin?
i don’t know but is there a program or something i can download that shows how the total space is in the recycling bin like they had it in yahoo widgets?
something like this http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/waste-basket
or this
http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/trash-bin-deluxe
that can replace windows’s xp recycle bin
The Expert answers:
If you want to see the total size of the items in your recycle bin, open My Computer and open C: Make sure that “Show hidden files” is checked in the Folder Options in the Tools menu. Then mouse over the folder called RECYCLER. This contains all files deleted on that drive, and will give you the total size of all items in the recycle bin unless you have more than one hard drive.
Helen asks…
how do you recover files from recycle bin?
i accidentally cleared my recycle bin and i really realllllly reallllly need those files back how do i recover them?
The Expert answers:
Its not impossible, you need a software which i am too lazy to look for you,
you see when you clear your recycle bin you’re not deleting anything hahahaha you’re just making file invisible or forgetting the original location of the file, there are software that can help you see these invisible items but it will only work if you deleted the things recently for example my recycle bin is full and so i clear it item A can still be recovered and when i clear again item B can still be recovered but item A is lost forever
btw there are also software that can act as an extension of your recycle bin and make sure you cant find anything you have already deleted even recent objects
now,can you explain more elaborately why psp is nerdier than a phone?i mean it can practicly do everything the phone can better but doesnt look that cool……so is that it?
Based on my question you answered
