I accidentally deleted my recycle bin on windows vista basic. How do I get it back. I have not backed up my files yet. I don’t know what to do. When I did deleted, it told me how to restore it, but I wasn’t paying attention. I thought I was emptying the bin and not deleting it. So please tell me how to get it back. Thanks a million.
The Expert answers:
Just use recovery program like recuva … It’s freeware
recuva.com
http://www.gunungpring.com/wordpress/recuva-file-recovery/
if it’s not successfull …
Try getdataback for ntfs or fat depends on your hard disk …
But it’s not free …
Try the freeware then if the data is still seen by getdataback …
You can buy it to recover the data ,,,

Is it possible to recover files deleted from the recycle bin?
My son somehow deleted almost all of my files from my desktop, many with photos. They are not showing up in the recycle bin. Is there any hope at all of ever getting them back?
The Expert answers:
Files you deleted from recycle bin were not erased permanently. They are just inaccessible or invisible. The space your deleted files located on is marked as free space that can be occupied or taken by new data. Therefore, you can recover your deleted files from emptied recycle bin with third party data recovery software.I have succeed with Asoftech data recovery. It can recover data after deeply scanning your hard drive to look for lost data you accidentally deleted. By the way,you can download it and scan your hard drive for free to preview whether your deleted files can be recovered. Get it from http://www.asoftech.com/adr/

How does one back up the Windows 7 Recycle Bin?
A few weeks ago, I ran a program to clean up duplicate files, all duplicates went to the recycle bin. It has a LOT of stuff in it. In the 3-4 weeks since then, I’ve encountered a couple of minor problems which I recovered from the recycle bin. I’d like to empty it now, but only if I can back it up first – so that I can recover things if anything else comes up missing. Can the recycle bin be backed up?
The Expert answers:
Hi there,
Just create a new folder on the Desktop called “Recycle Bin Backup” and copy everything from the Recycle Bin into it. Copy the folder onto an external hard drive if you like.

How can I verify that my recycle bin is permanently ,and irretrievably deleted?
Before giving my old computer away , I want to be sure all personal vital information is irretrievably removed. When I now clik on the Recycle Bin it shows a blank screen …Empty ! Is it totally cleared ?
The Expert answers:
The best thing to do is to download a shredder for when you get a document you want to delete, when you delete something in your recylce bin, sometimes there are bits of data left over, my good friend is a forensic computist, and there isnt much he cant find on a computer, but it takes days just to recover the smallest thing, so i wouldnt worry about it. Unless you work for the CIA or something.

How do I find my lost recycle bin on my Windows xp?
I can’t find the recycle bin on my desktop computer and I’ve tried pretty much everything. Even if I do properties, desktop (tab), the recycle bin doesn’t show up. If you have and answer, I’ll try it it and if I find it, thanks!
The Expert answers:
First perform a search for “Recycling Bin” by going to Start, Search.
That probably won’t work, I’m looking up more information on your problem. I’ll edit this later.
*Edit: Here you go!
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Appearance and Personalization, click Personalization, and then click Change desktop icons.
3. Click to select the Recycle Bin check box, and then click OK.
*Edit: That may work, but I think that’s only for Vista. Try right-clicking your desktop and selecting “properties.” On the window that comes up, select the “desktop” tab, then click “customize desktop.” On the next window, select “recycle bin (full)” and click “restore default,” then repeat with “recycle bin (empty).”

what happens to old videotapes when you throw them in the recycle bin ?
i am concerned that I am not sure if the best way to dispose of all of these old video tapes, I have, is to throw them in the recycle bin ?
What happens to all of these old video tapes, when we do this ?
If I put all my old video tapes in the recycle bin, will this keep all my old video tapes, from winding up in a landfill ?
I have enough old video tapes to make some kind of a large outrageous “art” statement.
I have this dream to find an artist that would help me start an art project.
I would like to find a place to display a large “art thing” made of Old video tapes – This could be done easily by taking all the old videotapes, I have and gluing them or melting them together and spelling out, “Love the Earth – Recycle” and then I would just have to find a place where it could be displayed some where.
The Expert answers:
Those should not be put into the recycling bin, they are not recyclable.
